Where would you like to live?

Uncertain of what you really want? Is it a luxurious mansion close to the noise of the city, single-family home in the suburbs, or maybe a spectacular condo in a downtown skyrise? I'm here to help you sort through your likes and dislikes, happy to assist you with making one of the biggest decisions in your life.  I've included a few questions from my questionnaire to help you start thinking about your new home. 

Do you need transportation? 

If you prefer to use city transportation, there are many areas that will still fit different lifestyles.  How far do you want to walk to the bus stop? Do you prefer to use Uber or Lyft?  Do you like to live as close to work as possible or do you enjoy a longer bus ride? This will help us narrow down our search area when looking for a home. 

Do you need storage? 

If you enjoy outdoor hobbies or working on engines or other large items, chances are you'll want a garage.  You'll also want to be aware of any HOA rules that may prevent you from being able to do the hobbies you enjoy.  Knowing what extra-things you'll need, like more power for the sauna and hot tub or a basement because your have a full home gym set up helps me send you better options. 

Do you have animals? 

Many condos and some cities have rules against certain pets, based on size and breed.  Knowing about your beloved animals allows me to give direction on which locations to stay away from to keep your furry (and not so furry) friends safe at home. 

Are there any special features you are looking for? 

If you absolutely want and need a zero entry home, then I can sort through all the noise of listings and send only those that are specific to your needs, keeping you from getting frustrated with the market. Looking for a certain neighborhood or radius around your work? I can measure out the distance to make sure you are only seeing what you want to see.  

What are your future plans?

Where do you see yourself in five years? This question sounds like a job interview but it’s useful in case of house hunting. Do you plan to have roommates? Do you hope to rent this house and buy another with the equity in the future? Do you plan to work from home or run a business from home?
